Huda Amjad
Huda Amjad is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt, active competitor, and self defense instructor dedicated to empowering others through confidence, discipline, and skill. She began her jiu jitsu journey under Professor Andre Freire, where she developed a deep respect for the art and a lasting passion for training, competition, and personal growth. Huda has competed in several high level tournaments, including World Championships, earning numerous medals throughout her journey.
In addition to her work on the mats, Huda is a licensed Speech Therapist, holding a degree in Speech Language and Hearing Pathology from the University of Arizona. Her professional background shapes her coaching style through clear communication, patience, and adaptability, allowing her to support individuals in finding their voice and building confidence.
Huda is especially passionate about women’s self defense, teaching practical, real world skills focused on awareness, control, and mental resilience. Her goal is to inspire and empower women to trust their strength, advocate for themselves, and move through life with confidence; both physically and mentally.
Whether in the clinic or on the mats, Huda’s mission is to help people feel strong, capable, and confident in their everyday lives.
